Papers are allocated approximately 15 minutes for presentation and additional 2-3 minutes for questions and answers. To meet the allocated time, it is recommended that you allocate about 2 minutes per slide when discussing equations or introducing novel concepts, and one minute per slide when the content is more self explanatory. For the benefit of your audience, do keep your slides simple and easy to read. Please try not to make too points per slide. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the program on schedule.
An ICOST Short Paper requires the production of a poster, which will be on display throughout the duration of the ICOST 2013 Conference, and a "presentation" during a special poster session on the program. The poster session “presentation” requires one of the authors to be present at their poster during specific time slots on the Program to present the work (poster), interact with other conference participants and to answer any questions that may arise.
ICOST is considered as a premier venue for the presentation and discussion of research in the design, development, deployment and evaluation of Smart Environments, Assistive Technologies and Health Telematics systems. read more
