SUBMISSION

--- Submission is now closed ---

There will be a combination of presentations including scientific papers, posters and technology demonstrations. Prospective authors are invited, in the first instance, to submit papers for oral presentation in any of the areas of interest for this conference. The initial submission for evaluation should be in the form of a 4-8 page paper outline. Authors are strongly recommended to submit the full 8-page English language version. Springer LNCS format should be used for submission. Conference Proceedings will be published by Springer as a volume of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.

Reviewing process

All papers will be peer-reviewed by members of the ICOST2009 Scientific and Program Committees. ICOST2009 requires that submissions have not been published previously and that papers submitted were not under simultaneous review for any other conference, journal or other form of publication.

Paper submissions must be made anonymous to facilitate double blind review. In order to make double blind reviewing possible, authors should omit their names and affiliations from the paper. Also, while the references should include all published literature relevant to the paper, including previous works of the authors, it should not include unpublished works. When referring to one's own work, use the third person rather than the first person. For example, say "Previously, Smith [7] has shown that...", rather than "In our previous work [7] we have shown that....". Try to avoid including any information in the body of the paper or references that would identify the authors or their institutions. Such information can be added to the final camera-ready version for publication.

Submission format

Submissions should be in PDF format. The initial submission for evaluation should be in the form of a 4-8 page paper in English. Please use the Springer LNCS format for submission. The papers accepted will be assigned to oral sessions or poster sessions.
